The waff was founded in 1995 at the initiative of the Vienna trade unions and the Chamber of Labour. It wants to make life easier for Vienna's workers - when they are looking for a new job or an apprenticeship placement, for continuing education, for help in case of job cuts, for opportunities to get ahead. The waff is not a lobby or representation of interests. It is a partner for everyone who cares about the concerns of workers and supports workers. For this reason, we are partners to works-council members!
