Getting started in the working life is difficult for young people. Lack of contacts in business, unrealistic expectations as to what a vocation is like, the fulfilment of parents’ wishes and orientation towards role models can often be an obstacle to young entrants in the labour market. However, it is not all that easy for company representatives to walk around in young people’s shoes and understand their world.
Workshops at District Level
The waff is launching an initiative to improve cooperation between enterprises and schools, offering workshops at district level. In this context, the waff considers itself as intermediary between (future) partners.
The waff – Your Contact Point
The waff team organises and moderates one-day workshops and is available to interested teachers and enterprises as a contact point. The workshops aim at jointly planning cooperation projects to be implemented by the partners. To date, two workshops have been organised.
