When companies are forced to cut down on their staff strengths due to economic problems, the waff has an offer to make: labour foundations help people who have lost their jobs to retrenchments in making a fresh start in their careers. They offer complete fresh orientation and a comprehensive, professional training. The aim is to find a new job.

The waff has a coordinated set of instruments in funds and foundations which can be used in a problem oriented, specific manner: 

• Wiener Regionalstiftung (Viennese Regional Fund)
• Corporate Fund

Wiener Regionalstiftung (Viennese Regional Fund)

The new Viennese Regional Fund mainly provides working funds for employees of small and medium-sized companies who have to leave the company. Members of the Regional Fund residing in Vienna are funded by the municipality of Vienna.

Corporate Fund

In the event of more extensive staff strength reductions (more than 250 employees) or if employees beyond the economic zone of Vienna are affected, a corporate fund can be set up. Here, the waff will take charge of executing and coordinating all the necessary steps until the stage of the signed off corporate concept.
