Pisa Plus
With PISA PLUS, the waff supports working people in Vienna for whom a high quality training or advanced training is particularly important for development opportunities in their career path.
- New immigrants with "Limited Residence Permit "
- Free repetition of the apprentice training up to a maximum limit of € 2,000.- through the second chance education
- Reimbursement of 70 or 90 % of the course fees, up to a maximum amount of € 1,100.-, if you have at least an apprentice training certificate or a vocational school certificate, or a training in the country of origin which cannot be used in Austria
- For working persons who are more than 40 years of age: reimbursement of 70% of the course expenses up to a maximum amount of € 1,100.-
The application for assistance must be sent to the waff before the training or advanced training starts, during a counselling session. An application will be granted only if the course fees are more than € 200.-.
The waff counsellors will be happy to provide you with information about the other pre-requisites for sustaining your claim.
Advanced training account
With the advanced training account, the waff supports training and advanced training measures related to the profession for unemployed and working citizens of Vienna, if the course is taken from one of the educational institutions approved by the waff.
- New immigrants with "limited residence permit": 50% of the course expenses, up to € 200.-
- Working persons: 50% of the course expenses, up to € 200.-
- Unemployed persons (or: those on parenting leave/unpaid educational leave; drawing community aid): 50% of the course expenses, up to € 300.-
- For the vocational matriculation examination, foreman examinations, repetition of the apprentice training or the secondary school examination: 80% of the course expenses, up to € 450.-
The Application for assistance must be submitted to the waff within three months of completing the course (or completing the examination) at the latest.
