The Education Bonus is a new service offered by the waff and specially geared to people who have completed an apprenticeship. Grants are available for continuing vocational education and training successfully completed with an educational institution recognised by the waff. It is similar to the Education Account a maximum grant of € 200.- can be applied for with the waff.

The following requirements have to be fulfilled:

• apprenticeship completed successfully
• the course would begin within two years after apprenticeship
• main residence in Vienna
• the application for the grant has to be filed with the waff no later than 3 months after the end of the programme
• the course must be organised by an educational institution recognised by the waff

Attention: If you have completed a combined apprenticeship, this will count as one apprenticeship, so the bonus can only be granted once.

Please note: The Educational Bonus can be used in combination with the Education Account of the waff!
