The education and training guarantee (Ausbildungsgarantie) is a unique service offered by the city of Vienna to its youth: All young persons in Vienna who are looking for an apprentice training post are entitled to one: Either in a factory or company or in an apprentice workshop that spans several companies. For all those experiencing problems in getting established in a profession, additional support is also available through projects promoted by the waff. These projects help the youth in catching up with their secondary school qualifications, trying out trades or professions and finding an apprentice training slot or job.
