With a total of 90 transit jobs (full-time and part-time employment), jobStart helps permanently unemployed persons to re-enter the labour market.  
 
Approximately, 180 transit workers go through this project every year. The maximum retention period is six months, which can be extended by about three months; if the participant completes the factory work training, he/she has realistic chances of being absorbed.  
 
Transit workers are employed in the following areas:  Green space management and gardening, cleaning, maintenance and home care, shipping, assembly work, processing of goods, recycling, storage work, sales/shelf management, transportation, mobile sorting, etc.
